/co/ hates Disney pretty much most of the time (just look at the reaction to Hexed's announcement) but they're also bootlickers so they see Dana as not being grateful enough that she was allowed so many minutes of their glorious airtime. /co/ in general just doesn't have empathy and thinks they have the million dollar idea that will save western animation but their inability to be normal in public is holding them back. So they blame everyone but themselves. Dana wasn't supposed to get a "second chance", she was supposed to fade into obscurity, and now they're mad that the narrative they've spun around her turned out to be wrong.
