Here's the thing though the dotcom bubble was actually somewhat profitable, just not as profitable as promised. All throughout the time ecommerce was actually generating wealth and not just sinking costs for venture capitalists or investors as a whole. The returns so far on AI right now are not looking anywhere close to being as profitable as the dotcom bubble was. Can investors and venture capital even keep this bubble going that long if AI isn't generating good enough value based on its returns over costs? Also, I feel like boom and bust cycles happen quicker these days compared to the past. This is the /nu-market/ after covid.
