One day, as the time to elect the next student council draws near, Uta and Nana panickedly run into Kokoro. It turns out that the candidate Kai Chiyo has pledged to disband the Idol Precure Research Society. After listening to Chiyo's speech, Kokoro asks her why she wanted to disband the club, and was told it was because the Research Society hasn't accomplished anything. Kokoro pleaded for her to hear the club out. So Chiyo, who has come to the Research Society to observe the club, is presented with an Idol Precure fanbook the club has made, as well as handmade fans and button badges upon other merch, their cheering practice, showing off their serious activities. But Chiyo is unmoved, telling them she doesn't get what exactly cheering accomplishes. Given that Chiyo is the only candidate running for student council president, it's looking like the Research Society is set to be abolished......!?
