If you mean you're concerned about tarnish, there a re a few levels of protection you can deploy.
My solution (after some experimenting) is to use a food heat sealer to seal the bars in custom-sized sleeves of archive-grade plastic office sheet protectors. For standard-ish 1 ozt bars I may slip that assembly into a standard bar sleeve as well (which on their own don't really protect from the atmosphere), as seen at far right in pic related.
For much larger bars (kilo+), there is a risk of the seals breaking, pr not even being really a seal. In those cases a strip of packing tape over the seam stops that right up.
If you're really concerned, you can add a piece of anti-tarnish paper or felt with the silver before sealing.
