Setting is in a world where aesthetics literally nourish people through magical means. What is largely 'aesthetic' is completely arbitrary, so factions are formed based on what different individuals think are the most aesthetic. Moreover, these places are also literal wellsprings by which inhabitants magically appear (sort of like Angels in the Outfield).
The inhabitants of this setting are in an ongoing conflict over the aesthetics and natural for these reasons. The tomboys with tanlines in sundresses in the East want to spread sunflower fields because it gives them nourishment. The hime cut one-piece swimsuit wearers in the West want to create natural springs, pools, bodies of water in shady forests for the same reason. But there is only limited space on the continent, so they must fight amongst each other for aesthetic supremacy.
