Scientific fraud is so rampant, especially in biological/medical sciences, that I can understand how some people have come to reject common interpretations of evidence, especially if they can't observe something personally.
It's come to the point where accused fraudsters are accusing the accusers of fraud.
If there was nothing to hide, they would let us see anonymized medical data and research (often publicly-funded) hoarded by pharma companies, hospitals, academia, and governments.
Like with the Epstein files, a networked cabal of liars of varying degrees holding the most influential positions in society becomes the simplest rational explanation.
