Yummy can be considered the strongest deck in this meta. The only reason something like Crystron K9 won is not because it set ups a board of a billion negates, but because it can play through handtraps and still set up its unfair win condition, which is a turn skip. That turn skip has existed for a while, but no one was really running it, so no one really prepared for it.
The only problem with modern Yugioh is lingering floodgates. Stuff like Imperial Princess Quinquery giving your opponent Artifact Mjolnir, or Dimensional Barrier/Different Dimension Ground being searchable with Triple Tactics Thrust if your opponent dares interact with you. If you remove Artifact Mjolnir, K9 Crystron is just an above average combo deck, who's standard endboard is weaker than Yummy.
Decks like White Forest or Memento are good decks, but have consistency issues or lose to handtraps.
