Most mexicans who inmigrated to the USA and had their descendants there are the ones who emigrated when Mexico was in the 1990s economic crisis, the 2008 crisis, and in general all the neoliberal times.
Nowadays Mexico has become so much better, with a pib per capita of 15,000 dollars, and mexicans dont migrate at such high rates now.
I know this because Im myself mexican and i can confirm those specific times where fucked up for my country.
