You could use Blemish to make it offensive recovery but even with that, unless you also put stainless S3 in his face you can't really rely on the ammo regen it has consistently. I only really use him to countersnipe with S3 or reload and cancel instantly for other ammofags. Give it a try though, maybe you can figure out something I don't see.

Amiya is good, E2 gives her a true damage skill which ignores some mechanics like say, current event boss' damage resistance effect. And later on, though WAY later in main story, she gets more skills and can help out more. And you have to raise her anyways for later. She develops through the story, give her some time. Chapter 7-8 are good for her
