Seriously I feel sorry for Hideki Tojo.
He was made prime minister two months before the attack on Pearl Harbour.
He was made responsible for starting the war when there was nothing he could do about it.
And he accepted his guilt to protect the Εmperor.
I don't think any individual in Japan at the time was responsible for the war.
It was a matter of social structure.
I think the Japanese leaders were more honorable than the Nazi leaders in accepting the death penalty to protect the Emperor or to commit seppuku instead of evading responsibility.
