>against an enemy who uses [...] international law as a shield
My man, international law IS a shield. It's supposed to protect civilians. Just because you think an enemy combatant is hiding behind children doesn't mean you can just kill any child you find. Remember those three hostages that broke free and tried to surrender to the IDF holding white flags? And got gunned down since it was standard procedure to kill any unarmed civilians they came across. Same as what happened with that medical convoy that got lit up, where the IDF initially claimed they were traveling with lights out and then had to back-peddle since one of the dead civilians happened to record the killings.

Even if you don't care about arab women and children, maybe at least your heart feels sorrow for those three hostages that got gunned down?
