This, people get hung up with a thousand different things with this series but first and foremost Watanare is a comedy.

Musshu's artstyle really drives this home, i got into the series because of the manga and it's just such a fun read. Renako is tough to like sometimes but she's most always pure fun, she's like Ranma.
