Trying to find a rational/logical answer with incomplete information is kind of moot.
The father is going to be decided depending on Fat Xiao's mood anyway. What he ate the day he wrote it is probably a better clue to deduce the father.

All the other Sinners will be ritualistically sacrificed in the story to make Rhinedottir the true dindu.

>story with virtually no stakes
>interesting lore and world history is buried under mountains of needlessly excessive and flowery text
>the average genshin player has no idea what is going on in the world outside of archon quests unless they follow a lore youtuber
>characters rarely interact with each other outside of the monthly festivalslop where nothing notable happens
>most characters are one dimensional and carried by their design/voice acting
no idea what the actual reason is but i personally think genshin just does a piss poor job of selling itself from a story standpoint so it gets less people interested in writing stories set in its world
i enjoy it as a comfy exploration/character collector game but beyond that its just not that interesting to me

This doesn't mean anything, it's just one of the countless 'Are you still here???' prompts they put in the middle of characters' ramblings to ensure that people don't just enable autoplay and minimize the game
>...and then the NPC using the angry-looking face model with permanently furrowed eyebrows will turn out to have been the villain all along! Heh, another masterful story quest...

Knowing the devs, they're probably trying to do Emilie-Kinich The Sequel with Ineffa and the 6.0 guy rather than using HSR's type of bait with free characters anyway. I'd be really shocked if this year's anniversary included an old shit limited 5* like Eula or Albedo, what to say of Ineffa.

Thematically, it fits the Third Descender who had a romantic relationship with the First Seelie(Pale Princess). But chronologically, this makes no sense because of Dain's human status and age, unless you assume some time fuckery with Istaroth or the Abyss was at place here.

If no time fuckery is involved, this falls under the cyclical plotline Fat Xiao likes to bring up. This means that Khaenri'ah's cataclysm has strong parallels to the story of the seelies and the moon sisters, but the Pale Prince shouldn't be the Third Descender but someone else. Personally, I have no idea who else could fit this role so well.

>tfw 3.5 Windblume event dialogue
>Sucrose: On to Group 2. This subject is..."a guide who will never get lost."
>Paimon: Hmm, that's kind of abstract...Does it just mean someone who never loses their way?
>Sucrose: Wait, but they have to be able to guide others, too, so it's not quite as simple as that...Perhaps... an astrologer, then?
>Paimon: Oh, you mean Mona? Yeah, she'd definitely count!
>Sucrose: Mona... Yes, she certainly seems very confident, and she can use her astrology to guide people.
>Paimon: Would Bennett count? Well, his luck's so bad that as long as you go in the opposite direction from him, you'll always be going the right way, right?
Never underestimate the brilliant mind of Fat Xiao
