They used to say in supplemental material that 00 Raiser was called "00 Raiser" and not "00 Raiser Gundam" because the perfected version of the twin drive system elevates it above the status of being a Gundam. True to that lore, the gunpla boxes for the 00 Raiser and the 00 Qan[T] don't call it a Gundam.
