Cars are the only reason America hasn't descended into racial anarchy yet. Cars being the primary method of transportation allows what remains of the middle class to isolate themselves in public from the alien cultures that now inhabit the same public spaces. If America banned cars and forced busses and trains onto the populace and normal middle class families were sitting next to what the government has been flooding the country with since 1965, there would be a right wing uprising in this nation the likes of which this planet hasn't seen in a century.
Black ghetto people would be wiped off the fucking map if the upper middle class had to expose their children to the inherent danger they pose to others every time they went to school.
