I think Mai is in that Lily type spot where any minor change won't actually impact her being incredibly strong and incredibly easy. But while attempting to make Lily rise up the tier list would cause her to become unbelievably degenerate, trying to make Mai less degenerate would cause her to drop down to unplayable levels. She's probably going to get the Akuma "9000HP please understand" because of this.
