It was a middle point between the GBC and GBA and was home to a lot of licesned IP video games. It's where a majority of the handheld digimon and gundam games went for a while.

But like with the Neo Geo Pocket, it couldn't hold up to the Gameboy line once the advance came out so it died off. I don't think Kinnikuman had any games on it. For nisei, the only handheld one was on GBA and the rest were a gamecube and PS2 game.
