Unless you're in a high tier cEDH/adjacent pod full of sweaty neckbeards, 90% of the time the table Won't Just Have It and you wasted tempo biting your nails and fretting about overextending and hoarding cards when in reality you had a clear path forward. Worse case scenario you get totally blasted and are essentially out of the match, in which case oh well it was a silly multiplayer game anyways and you'll be starting a new one soon enough. You'll be fine the vast majority of the time.
