Everything on DAC/AMP market is becoming ridiculously expensive tho.
Back in the days I could easily find several AMPs/DAC+AMPs powerful enough for those headphones in 40$-60$ price range.
Now it seems all the manufacturers phased out good cheap shit and force people into their upsells.
Like, from "respectable" brands stuff with enough power from this peculiar headphone seems to sit at 200-250$, which is a lot.

I run my pair off the xonar STX connected to external amp (cause it's internal amp is a beast power wise, but it sounds unbearably dry on the vocals and instruments due to AMP chip it uses, RCA line out doesn't suffer from it).
I've even got a pocket portable amp that is powerful enough to drive them fully at high gain - Fiio A5, that was like 120$. Well guess what, not only you cannot get it anymore from Fiio, there is also no superseding replacement from it, neither from Fiio nor any other brand.
This stuff simply doesn't exist anymore. I don't know why the fuck DAC/AMP market became to be like this.

If you won't be able to get yourself something to replace E10K then don't bother with K702, on not powerful enough sources its treble becomes a complete ear grating/ear raping experience, and there will be no bass nor warmth to the sound.
