I can hardly imagine a final peace deal coming out of this, but I can imagine Putin's proposal for a ceasefire which would allow the Ukraine to hold fresh elections (a condition for Russian negotiations on final peace which has some demand from both sides, with Russia demanding election of a new Ukrainian govt and the Zelensky regime insisting on a referendum to approve a permanent peace deal) and lead to a permanent settlement.
