This is not the kind of explanation I can hand over in just posts because it's way more complicated than it looks. First of all, Israel has allies inside of Egypt itself who would seek to crash the government and reinstall their puppets for the 50th time.
Second, every lil' nigga in that area would jump to Israel's defense, especially Turkey, the US and the rest of NATO. Some would do it overtly, some would do it under the table.
Third, Egypt would find itself under all sorts of economic attacks which would feed back into the first point.
Fourth, Egyptians are morons that will fail you 100% of the time, as the Soviet Union was forced to learn the hard way.
International politics, especially regarding Israel, is a lot more complicated than it looks. China would have to well and truly commit to a proxy war with the US, using Egypt as the front actor. And Egypt would bungle it as it always does and leave the Chinks severly embarassed as well as impovirished for whatever they invested into the ordeal.
