>Tuffle Quest
>Kami was captured by Garlic Jr.
>Garlic Jr. told the public that Kami is King Piccolo
>This gives Maple the idea to ask Piccolo for help, to "rescue" King Piccolo
>You throw your hands into the air. "Then what DO you want?!"
>Piccolo slowly, menacingly floats down towards you. A malicious smirk comes across his face. "Kami will defer to me as the superior half. He will admit that for all the good in his heart, it was my ruthlessness, my power, my vile heart that proved to be the thing capable of doing what he can't do. Therefore... at the time of my choosing, he will step down as God of the Earth. Mine, not his. He refuses... he stays trapped in his little prison, ineffectual in there as he has been at that Lookout of his."
>...that's an odd request. And... not exactly one you can make on your own, you think. "Why are you asking me this?"
>"You're not the only one of your party negotiating here. As helpless as he may be right now... I know he's in my mind. Listening in. You will bare witness to this agreement. He can't back down from it, in addition to the things you've promised me." Piccolo places his hand forward. "Do we have a deal, Maple and Kami?"
Piccolo was disappointing as a villain initially, but now we're getting somewhere! This is shaping up to be the best tournament yet to have such a curveball being thrown into the plot... It is odd Kami found Garlic Jr more threatening to the point he decided to fight Garlic Jr personally though, when the reasons he went to fight Piccolo were very different (He believed Goku wouldn't kill Piccolo), but he had no reason to go fight Garlic Jr. here... So the setup is clunky and Kami acts like a retard for it to happen, but at least Maple's plan and Piccolo finally acting like a villain are interesting.
