Hypothetically either could be true. I wouldn’t normally put forward a guess without meeting a great number of people, who do identify that way.

I will add that in the future, should people heavily genetically modify themselves, and/or were AI’s definitively demonstrated to be sentient, I would have an expectation that many AI’s and many extremely modified individuals would almost certainly be measurably neither male nor female, and identify as such.
