I am asked to restart computers because people can't find the power button on one. I am asked by other "IT" staff how to reset a password because they can't get past Microsoft Entra. I am asked by AI-using 22 year old roasties how to change the microphone on a Teams meeting. They unironically see me as some kind of genius with hidden knowledge.

The competency crisis is real, most people are 90% retarded and use ChatGPT for every aspect of their jobs, and the terrifying aspect of it all is, competent white men like me that keep everything running are dying out.
