>implying I'm not keeping watch
You're lucky I'm at work and my rabbit response collection is severely limited on this machine.

In more current news, I finished the Donbass campaign of Squad22:ZOV and here's my review, exclusively for /chug/:
It's kinda meh and very obviously unfinished. It even has the version number and BETA in the upper right corner, they forgot to remove it. I have had no crashes or game breaking bugs, so good job on that, but a lot of the game is very rough, especially the models. A few of the maps, most obviously the poultry farm map, are obvious filler someone slapped together in an afternoon. There's a lot of houses you can't get into, they are just 3d models placed there to fill out the map. Some of the flavor text doesn't correctly match the events in the game. Like, the mission intro says a new volunteer joined, but you get no new recruits for 3 or 4 levels or such.
There is no looting system in the game even though it's extremely obvious that it should be a thing. You shotgun a guy who was unloading his AK in your direction and you can't take the gun off his corpse. The looting is only ever mentioned briefly in the mission introduction text.
Every mission starts with the exact same voice line, when the system looks like it was intended to play a different one for each mission.
The enemy AI is not really a thing. Most of them stand perfectly still acting more like turrets than anything else. Some of them are allowed to chase after you, but most of them are turrets and will only ever move if you throw a grenade under their feet and even then only the 5 steps it takes to get out of the blast radius. The main strategy is to distract them from one side, then bring a guy to shoot them from the other. You can also cheese the AI by using a smoke to block LOS, walk into the smoke and then grenade their cover.
All in all, I'll give them the bare basic points for functionality and stability and I guess I'll throw one in for being atmospheric, but this very obviously needs several more months of work before I can call it a good game.
