well from my players apparently they said that i did a good job at it
post apoc campaign i've had that is a mix of nausicaa dune kenshi fallout and morrowind
the weirder of a setting especially on a cultural level you got the easier it is to mix shit in really
taking inspiration from the saucy parts of real history helps too, though i think the real trick is to always have proper causal ramifications and real feeling reactions from people in the setting to that worldbuilding
monster girl quest is a good example of this, with a rediculoul premise that has had it's ramifications handled pretty well quite a few monster girls are not 100% happy that they are physically and sexually more powerful than human men.
one of those fetishes was weirdly older anime aesthetics will still maintaining tonal coherence and a feeling of believability
one of the genetic options in character creation was to have 90% of those born into a PC's genetic line be women practically an amazon culture but the settings main abrihamic religion was quite similar to islam so most guards in those cultures were women but they wore closefaced helms and full covering while they did laborious jobs
while men wore openfaced helms
honestly at this point it's gotten hard for me to tell what parts of my own setting are just colorful like real history and what ones are direct fetishes
like some of it is directly pretty hot and is definitely my fetish but it blends into the greater confluence of the setting
if this thread is still up in a bit i might go into specifics
