Only Kinsey 2 and 4 are truly bisexual. This type often needs to have sex with both men and women at the same time to be fully satisfied (cheaters, poly, open relationship, etc.) or are trannychasers who crave the best of both worlds in the same person. Or "gay" men who divorce, come out in their 40-50's and eventually seek just effeminate twinks because they have a hard time getting women because they are less attractive now.

Kinsey 3 doesn't count since everybody has a preference.

Kinsey 0 and 6 are the pure heteros/pure homos.

Kinsey 1 and 5 are the "bicurious" ones who will eventually grow out of that phase and identify as either heteros or homos. Or will occasionally have casual sex with their less preferred sex if they cannot get a partner of their preferred sex.
