>Turkey
I generally despise Turkey due to our long history of conflict as well as their current government's actions, but I hear that the actual Turks (city and coastal town dwellers at least) are decent enough folks.
Besides, they love cats just like we do. I reckon one can get some idea of what a person is like by how they treat those who are weaker and more vulnerable.
> Christmas has been celebrated here,
Kind of unsure what to make of it, but that's probably the cultural influence and merchants looking to sell more junk.
Then again, afaik Islam considers Jesus to be one of God's messengers.
>Pre-marital sex is a BIG no no. Night clubs exist but are rare. Honor culture is still alive though also rare.
Based.
>it's always something that's annoyed me and frankly embarrassed me
Completely understandable, we've had similar things with Russians thugs who had made money through shady means in the 90s flooding European resorts and shaming the rest with their barbaric behavior.
Friends recently been to Dagestan (a muslim-majority region in the Caucasus), and not only the people there were civil and well-mannered but some even mentioned how they want nothing to do with those who leave for Moscow only to give the rest of the Dagestanis a bad name.
>I'll never understand why the west is so lenient on the outright malicious immigrants they take. Never.
Beats me. Other than it's the money that someone makes off of that. Or maybe because it gives them the excuse to push for chat control, facial recognition and other privacy restrictions.
As for the regular citizens, I assume that actual Muslims, the not-radical type, from Muslim countries know better what the extremists are like and what violence they are capable of.
