Yeah I just checked the drop page and it doesn't come from regular mining... You actually have to use life skill points to gather it. Why did they make gathering such a pain? Either you spend your points gathering and then wait 1day to craft the next day. I'm not a big fan of this mechanic... I usually love crafting and gathering in MMOs...
