>be me
>playing against the storm
>kvetching in this general about how bullshit the feeling lucky deed/achievement is
>finish my run and decide to play one last game to see if I can get it so I can be done with the game FOREVER
>do literally everthing I possibly can to increase my odds of pulling it
>choose all production buildings from rep rewards
>buy every blueprint available from traders
>wait until the middle of the game to start sending out expeditions, after I've cleared every blueprint reward
>odds are something like 1/20 now
>get the rainpunk foundry on the first expedition
>literally after saying, "watch, I'm gonna get it on the first try this time"
>mfw i have no face for this feel
>feel like I've finally completed everything in the game considering I have every achievement now...
>that is... except for the secret deeds...
>look them up for the first time
>some are relatively easy
>some are batshit insane
>like winning a game on p20 without cutting down a single tree
>or getting BOTH the rainpunk foundry and the homestead in one game from expeditions (a 1/28 and a separate 1/18 roll)
>decide that I have a couple days before Silksong, now only one day
>try to see how many of the 13 I can get when I deliberately go for them. So far I have gotten like 6, mostly the easy ones that don't take too much effort or strategy. Currently working on 2 more on this one settlement, then am going to try a single time to get the feeling extremely lucky deed. I have been working towards it by stockpiling embarkation points to bring literally as many blueprints as possible into the settlement to begin with
>in the future, I will have a new goal. Get every single deed in a single run, including the hidden ones. This will have to be separate from my no kills run, as some of these deeds require deaths
Just when I thought I was out
They pull me back in
