Do you anons ever use ChatGPT to help you wrench? I've found that it gets the correct answer on specific questions about 50% of the time. For example here >>28705244
, it correctly told me the caliper guide pin allen key size (7mm), but it also told me the wrong size for my bleed valve (it said 7mm when it's 11mm).
In other words, GPT cannot be trusted with your life.

>they power it through the OBD2 port, or stop being poor and get a scan tool to do relearns
I do have an industry standard scan tool (Ansel), but the Hanes repair manual says that it doesn't know how to do relearns. I'm trying to "learn" how to do a "relearn" using my Linux laptop and my USB---OBD2 cable. The software is freely available online, but it takes a bit of digging to figure out.
>looking at your motor and seeing oil
How do you know that's not from you spilling it when you were topping off? That's my point. You need to make sure you're in fact leaking and not burning, anon.

You're gonna have to crawl under the car anon. Use a flashlight to find it. You can engineer a solution, I believe in you!

Anon, be glad you're not dealing with a Ford 5.4 Triton, where the spark plugs actually get seized. This is why you're supposed to put antisieze on your plug threads.
>you don't wanna deal with two cracked plugs
Honestly, I just dealt with that last week. I overtorqued my Corolla's spark plugs, and broke one. It wasn't the end of the world. I just used a bolt extractor to get it out, after soaking the area in PB blaster.
