>If this is done correctly
I'm trying to be hopeful about this, but the more Yoshi P talks in these interviews--it won't.
If Occult Crescent was a signal of anything, people will rush the content and milk it dry in the first few weeks before their subscription runs out. After that first month, the content will drop off a cliff and it'll be dead-on-arrival for any of the late stragglers. I feel bad for some anons that were left in the dust, but there's hardly anyone willing to stick around to play the game anymore.
I hate sounding like a doomer, but people have already picked up on Square Enix's bullshit for quite a while now. Once you're done with the checklist of content, then what's there left to do? If you're not committed to a static, raiding old content, or achievement hunting, then what's the point of subscribing? I know some people are only subbed because of their houses and it's a shitty practice on Square Enix. Be serious here.
