The catch is just you have to set it up yourself, which is easy, just downloading and extracting a file, but that filters 99% of normalfags. Even with imagegen they don't like local, they want a site they can just do it on.
And you don't buy a key, you just go to the model and hit generate a key. It'll give you a key so that you can use the model. But it doesn't cost you anything if you don't actually use the key. It'll use track how many tokens you use per request(message) and use your credits
