I remember playing D10 bots right after escalation of freedom. That update was peak Helldivers, just absolute perfection. I’d have games that were so intense my adrenaline would be pumping and I’d have to take a break. I haven’t had that experience since buffdivers came out.
I still enjoy it because it’s basically a party game now and I can hop on and TK my friends in funny ways, but it’s sad to see its true potential was only realized for a short time. I wish there was a legacy client or something.
