Once again, blame Raymond. But I have my own thoughts about that incident. The problem is that filler content has gotten in the way of the main story's progression. Barring the non-main story dolls from progressing the main narrative is a MICA thing for better or worse. imo in another game Corposant would've happened six months in.

Willy is a mad scientist that toys with life itself. SKK has already stated he killed William in GF2. It will be an even bigger problem if somehow SKK just let Willy live in GF1.

SKK is a useful dog. SKK kills(?) his other useful dog (William). Griffin is mad, but he can still find some use out of SKK, hence why he doesn't end him. Blazar Backscatter was leaked a few months after Slowshock. IMO it would've been a good time to conclude the story, or at least let the Lunasia bits emerge. I'm on the opinion of LS crew being terribly extra/completely uneccessary to GF1's narrative

Yeah everything went downhill after Slowshock. I'm not a fan of putting in a new cast of characters to care about right when the story is about to reach a conclusion. I think GF1's story would've been better had things been wrapped up way earlier.
