>Normal is super effective against Fairy and not very effective against Ice.
Since fairies aren't real and ice is solid like rocks and steel.
>Psychic is super effective against Fairy.
Because smart people don't believe in fairies.
>Fairy is not very effective against Psychic and Bug, and is ineffective against Normal.
Magic tricks don't work on brilliant or overly simple minds. Normal types because fairies aren't real.
>Ice is super effective against Fire and Water.
Cold freezes water and extinguishes fire. Fire and ice will be mutually super effective. Any offensive ice buff risks buffing water by proxy, but I think these two buffs won't make water stronger.
>Ghost is not very effective against Rock, Fire, and Water.
Because stones, fire, and water are known to be purifying, and it's also an apology for giving fire and water another weakness.
>Bug is super effective against Electric and Ground, and ineffective against Steel.
Like computer bugs and bugs digging through the ground. Steel is immune because bugs have a harder time burrowing through steel and something needs to block U-Turn.
>Grass is immune to all non-volatile status effects.
A lot of grass-types are already good, but others really suffer for their type. I think this helps the bad ones without making the good ones OP.
>Psychic is immune to all volatile status effects.
Because Psychic needed a little more, and most volatile status effects are mental in nature.
>Stealth Rock deals 1/8 damage to grounded Pokemon, 1/4 damage to ungrounded Pokemon, and Rock types absorb it like Poison types do with Toxic Spikes.
SR should have never been type-based. Being stronger against ungrounded mons balances the spikes immunity that ungrounded mons have. And Rock-types absorbing it gives the type a stronger reason to exist.

I also think something should be immune to Dark, because spamming it is too free right now, but I lack the mental gymnastics to think of what.
