No one pretends there are no nazis, and it's more nuanced than that. There's more nazis than ever precisely because of the insanity of the last 10 years and leftists calling milquetoast right-wing beliefs "nazi" or "fascist", and some got further radicalized because of it, so yeah, there's more nazis now than ever. The other part of it is you have non-whites pretending and wanting to be white and being the most hateful, shallow, buzzword-spouting anons in these threads. It's all a mess, and it's a mess that shouldn't exist because Wolfenstein was always an apolitical series up until Machine Games and their marketing entered the culture war. Regardless, even if they didn't, the political discourse on the modern internet probably still would make a good faith Wolfenstein game impossible now because of how insane the left had been in the 2010s combined with the subsequent backlash of the right. Everywhere you go now, every nu-Wolfenstein video that goes viral, there's comments like:

>"Wolfenstein is needed now more than ever"
>"We all could learn from Blazkowicz in 2025 tee hee ;)"
>Elon Musk should be a new Wolfenstein enemy

Go on Reddit, same deal. Go on Twitter, same deal. Any time Wolfenstein gets brought up in any context, it's always a lefty political wink and a nod. These are the people responsible for this shit because they started it, and continue to gaslight everyone who had legitimate grievances with Wolfenstein II's marketing being divisive and antagonistic, which is a shitty thing to do to a fanbase that was never like that.
