But then I've been questioning most of their outfits since Shippuden. I thought when one becomes Chunin they get the standard village vest and dark blue attire. Most of the ninja we see in part one barring Kurenai and Anko dress that way. So how come none of these guys did except Shikamaru? It wasn't until the 4th ninja war everyone dressed like actual ninja.
