Nintendo is the perfect company to parody and I fucking love it
While other companies try to be hip, ironic, or self-aware on social media, Nintendo maintains a deliberately un-ironic, almost wholesome corporate image. Their humor feels safe, rehearsed, and almost endearingly awkward.
This is fucking perfect for people to shit post and parody on Nintendo's behalf.
Other companies trying to be "meta" are already parodying themselves.
But with Nintendo, the parodying is all ours. It's so refreshing compared to the Xbox Twitter account.

Nintendo has osculated on this in the past. They have pimped Mario out to the lowest bidder before. Ever since the Wii era they have gotten more reserved and cautious about their brand and characters.
