Well you are correct, i can take a slow detour into what is seemingly the EU's strategy and has been for oh since the 2023 offensive didn't pan out.
The Eu after the disaster that the spring offensive entailed, decided it had to get a cease-fire the reasoning for this is fairly simple, they want to move EU troops into the Ukraine so that IF -more like when- Russia disagrees on the peace negotiation terms -where they'll demand ludicrous things- they come into direct conflict with the EU i.e. NATO, so they can trigger muh article 5 or something.
It's also why they told the Baltics to be so belligerent.
It's also why they keep trying to get invited to peace negotiations so they can just sabotage any type of peace and go. see America my best friend and stalwart ally who i love oh so so so so much they don't want peace, how about you directly get involved :)
It is all so transparent it's hard to miss.
