It's been 8.5 years since the last mainline DQ, stop with the fucking re-releases and remakes and make something new.

Now we're getting remakes of remakes instead of new games, what a fucking waste of a IP. XII is in eternal development hell, It's just depressing that devs now can't even make a new Dragon Quest game without it being a decade long vaporware project. So instead we just get the same games for the millionth time for full price, hoping to bank on dedicated fans for a quick buck. None of these pull any meaningful amount of new players. That's why the series is dying.
