that's why i dont like the 25 yard distance they set up, i dont see myself ever firing at someone from that distance with a pistol irl, though i know skilled shooters can definitely work at that range with no problems so i would like to eventually reach that level of proficiency as well. the range officers have come up and given me advice before but it was boomer crap that didn't help, like saying to prep my trigger pulling to the wall and working off the reset for follow up shots (stupid) or saying i shouldn't be wearing my gloves while im shooting because i 'wouldnt have time to put them on in real life' (wouldnt be putting on my goggles or ear muffs irl either). ive been trying to do gradual trigger pulls like ben stoeger says, and it does noticeably diminish the amount of twerking the gun down, somehow i often see my shots flying way out to the berm or the ground near the target. which stance is best for normal, still firing?
