I almost got gift card scammed the other day by a jeet impersonating my boss over text message. I went so far as to buy $600 in gift cards that we would “give as gifts to office staff” but then he said ‘now send me the codes’ I was like lol wtf what’s the fun in that? I recouped my money by selling them to my coworkers after having a good laugh about it.
