Spider-Man against Juggernaut is nothing like what was going on here. Juggernaut wasn't introduced as a Spider-man foe that stayed around in a year long arc and even if that happen, in terms of motives he's the Rhino with better plot armor.
We are introduced to a son of Satan that can turn into anyone, read the minds of others, teleport nearly anywhere in this damn town and cause lovecraft like horrors on anyone that has a soul, and somehow DD is suppose to face this and win? The whole arc just spun out of control and required both Blackheart to challenge his father and Silver fucking Surfer to interfere and save everyone. That's what made this mash up so retarded it would be on par of Spider-man fighting Mephisto and we all know how well that encounter went.
