They do not even need to do that. It is perfectly possible to make suits work for women and there are countable examples of that, just get the late 80s and early 90s look.
What can’t be made to work, no for Hololive at least, is the “girl prince” archetype.
The reason Subaru, Okayu, Flare and Towa can supplement their viewership with a sizable female presence is because it’s an incidental trait in their primarily male-targeted content.
Targeting girls is not their focus, it’s just something that happens naturally due to their voice, demeanor and personality.
Ao tried to do that but from zero and that’s just not how it works even for men.
A guy doesn’t get into a group, calls himself an impossible to resist gigachad and immediately gets the attention of every girl, but that’s exactly what they tried with Ao and even had the Holo girls play “conquered women” to try to bootstrap it.

All in all: suits can work (if well designed, for fuck sake Cover, get an Italian to do it!) but “girl prince” can’t.
