If the Galatians attempted to use the law to show they were saved or not it’s placing themselves as the object of their faith, and Paul writes to them acknowledging them as believers but they are committing a subtle form of blasphemy because their faith is being attacked by legalists who are using the law to bind them in condemnation.
You’re not saved because you do X, you’re saved because Jesus did everything for you at the cross. You don’t have to work a day in your life to go to heaven having believed, lest God be a liar.
