Daily reminder that Ohtani's longtime friend Ippei MIzuhara stole nearly 1/2 of his big league earnings from the Angels, of which, zero is likely to be recovered. Despite the overwhelming evidence that Ippei was the sole culprit, such as "I am Ohtani (Ippei) to the bank representative", and placing bets while Ohtani is on mound, something he physically could not have done, he still being branded as a gambler and a bad boy.
