We need a name for this type of content that pretends to educate outsiders, but in reality is a big circlejerk for people who are already in on it.
Like those Arknights essays that talk about how amazing the lore of Arknights is. It's supposed to explain the worldbuilding and shit to people who don't play Arknights, but in reality the only people who consume those videos are people who are already fans of the game and already know all of the info.
Nobody who isn't an Arknights fan would watch a 40 minute essay of some autist overexplaining all the different factions and races of a game they've never played. It's just redundant slop for people who want to hear somebody repeat their own thoughts back to them.
