In my opinion:
Anima: Internal and unconscious, it has agency, but is tied to understanding of one's own self, and can be integrated to to achieve syzygy. You have complete control over it, but many people don't even understand their own conscious let alone explored their own subconscious. It is projected onto other women if not integrated, making you idealize or demonize them. Hence the OP projecting his unconscious anima to several doujinshi characters. The fever just set the conditions right for the anima to go wild.
Tulpa: Internal and conscious, think of it like running a computer with dual boot. Whether it's independent or not is really not a concern. Most importantly, they have a human mind regardless of whatever form they take. They reside in a mental space created by you that you have complete control over. Tulpas can also interact with you beyond just the mental world you create for them. An amina is completely psychological, while a tulpa straddles the line between spiritual and psychology. Personally, I think it's a process used to create consciousnesses, not unlike how we managed to become conscious.
Spirit: Completely external, the main difference in telling between a tulpa and a spirit, is that a tulpa requires constant attention to grow and develop. A spirit is already fully formed and is able to interact with you beyond unconscious desire. They do not 'require' anything from you and are fully self-sufficient. They don't feel a part of you and are usually summoned once you are ready to take the steps into the occult. Some judgement is needed to determine if it's a spirit. You'll never get a definitive answer that will conclusively prove it.
