Growing up Nazis were always the bad guys.

Movies, television, video games, etc.

The history channel would flirt with nazi obsessed media under the guise of "history" but I think there's always been this lowkey sympathy due to a significant percentage of Americans having German heritage.

Throw in a culture of a caste system dependent on skin color, and you'll have a bunch of insecure and mediocre individuals lined up ready to gaslight themselves into thinking they're better than they really are.

I think these rising nationalist movements are really just a symptom of growing wealth disparity and inequality. It's really a class war being masked as a culture war.

As the concentration of wealth continues we risk standing by as we witness the fall our great republic, similar to Yugoslavia or Rome.
